The major thing that I chose this university was fast response from website. If you have any issues, you can just go on website and post the query and they will definitely get back to you. Also, there is no tests or interviews to get it. It's completely dependent on first come first serve basis and the fee is affordable, the provide assistance, free of cost books and library. It has everything you could ever think of with distance course.
Course curriculum is good. You do get prepared for real life jobs. Exams are really easy and you can clear it even if you study one night before it as everything is there online on youtube or even on the university's official website. I chose eng hons because its reputed course and I did get a job as content writer with this as well.
I didn't get any internships from college as the placement cell is bit slow and there are not much hirings going on since covid. Last hiring that was done is last year for HSBC capital and after that, theres no horing yet. Been more than a year now.
They do provide placement assistance as well but there is no eligibility criteria. Its completely on first come first serve basis. You need to check website daily for possible hirings and you can apply then go for face to face interviews at the venue. I have heard max package was 7LPA and min was 2LPA. Placements are a little slow as from past one year, there was only one hiring for HSBC capital.
The fee I paid was 4999 rupees per year for two semesters. The fee is totally worth it as there are no unnecessary charges for anything else. Books, library and everything else is covered in the fee. As the course is very affordable and it is also in distance mode so unfortunately there are no scholarships as such from university. Everybody in my batch paid same fees as I had word with a few of them and best part would be there are no extra examination fees or assignment fees.
Campus is fine as there are some sports that you can play as well as there is every book in library you can ever think of. If you want to get enrolled in student club, the college has some of that as well. I didn't go much to fests as that is a hole to get stuck for some illegal stuff but they did had it in december.
I didn't opted for hostel as I am a local in Delhi but from my friends, I have heard that the food is okayish but the rooms are pretty clean and spacious. Menu is also vast so you can eat diff meals for 7 days of week but obviously they will repeat it at 8th day.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
