The requirements to get admission is just having a class 12th passing certificate from a recognised education board. However, they've now started accepting CUET, SAT and JEE scores as well. The cutoff scores for these exams keep changing however. However, most of the people opt for admission through the normal route i.e giving the Azim premji university aptitude test. The first stage of the admission process is filling the application form. After this everyone is eligible to sit for a test ( Computer based test) that will the further decide whether you are eligible to sit for an interview. After the exam is done , you'll receive an interview invite by the university after a month or so. The interview takes place both in person and online and is usually taken by a professor who's teaching the course you want to major in. On an average the interview goes on for a hour not more than that. After that you just have to wait for either an offer letter or a rejection letter.
BA- Economics, is the flagship course of this university and the faculty is one of the best that I've ever seen in Indian universities. It's filled with celebrated economists whose works I've been following since before , so an opportunity to learn from them I was never letting it go. The teaching methods are also great , they follow more of a western approach to teaching as they give a lot of project work , field work and regular assignments that works your brain rather than rote learning. The curriculum for this course is also very immersive and the book tha we use is written by one of our celebrated professors featuring other noble ecomnomiAlso it's an interdisciplinary university so students have a lot of freedom in choosing their subject combinations. The exam system is actually diffrent for different courses. For Economics you have regular online quizes (that is a part of your total grade) and have in class tests every 2 weeks. And you have 2 term exams ( mid term and end term) .
The year wise fees is Rs. 600000 ( including tuition and accomodation fees) however additional 6-8k will be needed for food. People get 100 percent scholarships+ food scholarship based on their economics background, some get 75%,50%, 25% or 5% all is need based. There is no limit to giving scholarships, if you need one and are eligible you'll most likely get it.
Great. There is alot of student diversity on the campus, people from all lover india are presnet here . So you'll never feel left out. There are also many different clubs and societies that could be a good way to socialise . You can also start your own club or society of you please to. We have a lot of student led clubs and initiatives like Sustainable farming club, Azim Premji Radio ,Thrift store,Hiking club, Clay club , campus theatre and many more. This university is now slowly picking up on sports and are working on bettering it by employing coaches. however the infrastructure is great , we have 6 indoor badminton courts, 5 indoor table tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, a unisex gym ( that does have non- male hours), football ground, cricket nets and pitch , frisbee ground, kabbadi ground, archery area. Students are free to explore their sporting interests whenever and wherever they want. We also have our own fest - Unmukt. It usually takes place around February last week.
The rooms are twin sharing, they are big enough to bear 2 single beds , 2 cupboards and 2 study tables , after that there some space to put any miscellaneous that you have , like laundry bags , dustbins etc. every floor has 2 common washrooms on either side and 2 common pantries. It's a 40 floor hostel . Having 1st floor as a common floor and floors 4-20 as males floor , 21-40 as females floor and floors 3 reserved for gender neutral people. The mess food is good. It's nutritious and flavorful and serves the palatte of both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Near the mess there is tuck shop and a chaat corner that students also eat from . You don't have to apply for a hostel you'll be give one anyway because it's a residential university. You're not allowed to live outside the university ( day scholars). The registration for the hostel room will be done on the same day of your arrival at campus for admission.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
