- This college has a good infrastructure and curriculum,.
- the college has enough labs with high end computers and equipments.
Dislikes
- The campus is not that big as of now but the college is continuously expanding and a new engineering block is being made for btech to separate them from the crowd
- The college is crowded and there are a lot of people.
Remarks :
I chose this college because of the name and nirf ranking and it was near to my home. No interview or group discussion is done for admission. The college is famous in dehradun. College has a big alumni network.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is complies with the UGC norms. Faculties are qualified. Faculties utilizes all teaching forms like ppt, whiteboard and notes are available in pdf format. The academics is good. There are 2 exams in a semesterid term exam and end term exam.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not still given any internship exams as I am in my second year but senior tells that internships are very limited and companies only hire the best of students even above average students are not hired because of less vacancies
Placement Experience :
Yes the college has a placement drive and many tech companies like ibm,tcs,infosys,tech Mahindra ,deshaw come to college for hiring. Eligibility criteria depends on company to company. Companies also come for internships.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is available on the college's website clearly. There is no change in that fees.however there is are two scholarships,one is the state's scholarship for uttarakhand students and the other scholarship is for everyone depending on your PCM percentage. *If you failed to maintain 7.5 CGPA or fail in any subject then this scholarship disappears for that semester. So inshort your fees depends on your pcm percentage
Campus Life :
We have two fests in every academic year. 1. Student Grafest -where students perform(conducted around november) 2. Grafest- it's a 3 day event where multiple stars perform and the experience is amazing.(Around may) And many more events happen around the year. Coming to library there are a lot of books you can find each and every book related to your syllabus in the library.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
