I was interested in Cybersecurity and the availability of that course in this college is what lead me to joining here , and anyone can come here if they get 80%ile or above in the exam called MHTCET if they are students from Maharashtra, or if they are from another state they need can get admission on the basis of JEE results . Also there are reserved seats for linguistic minorities i.e for people whose mother tounge is Hindi , i have some friends in same course who got in with around 40 %ile in the linguistic minorities
I chose this course because i was interested in Cybersecurity from the start , and the faculty atleast for first year was very bad i mean their behaviour was a bit rude , they teach in the college but u need to rely on some external sources like youtube for some subjects like mathematics and digital logic design From second year onwards you get faculty from respective departments and some of these teachers are really well educated in what they are teaching , apart from that they are very supportive of innovation and creativity, they constantly push talented students to do better providing them the opportunities to show their expertise in various hackathon, will suggest them some interesting workshops and stuff . I recently went to Indore on our HOD's recommendation and the autonomous Vehicle workshop there was really informative, also college paya for half the expenses in such cases. Where students are trying to bring glory.
Being in second year i wasn't given any internship opportunity from the college but we have a compulsory internship in our 4th year where college shares resources for getting internships by recommendations or by giving access to courses required to get the internship, it also focuses on overall development of students by taking mock interviews and improving their communication skills to ensure they dont have problems while landing jobs or internships. We have companies like cognizant, TCS , Wipro , accenture hiring on campus where the highest package offered was 25LPA and lowest being 3LPA
The fees above is for the VJNT category , for open it is 143000 , and for obc it was around 70000 . We used to have a different fee structure before where we were asked to pay for exam fees during semester exams seperately , but now we are to do that while paying tuition fees (the exam fees is 8500 and it was included in the 29000)
Me being very introverted i wouldn't say i have a lot of friends in this college, but but there sure are all kind of people in this college, so you will for sure find people who share your vibe, we have many clubs in the college that are technical or non technical where u can get to meet like minded people
I dont live in the hostel but , i hv rented a PG nearby the prices for those range from ?2000 to ?6000 per month , and prices for flats are on an average around ?9000 per month for 1 BHK flats , there are a lot of food mess around the college with prices ranging from ?2600 to ?3000 for 2 meals per day , and the overall quality of food provided is good . But i have some friends in college hostel and they hv told tht the hostel rooms are really spacious and they have facilities like Gym , swimming pool available, and the food quality is moderate

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
