Likes
- College library and infrastructure is one of the best thing here
- Another is college auditorium which is no doubt best if we compare it with other DU colleges.
Dislikes
- Sometime administration work can be delayed which is not a good thing but it occurs rarely
- College outside campus is too much quite in nature
Remarks :
One of the most important factor is my home distance from this college. Student have to give CUET UG to get admission in this college. In cuet ug students have to score good marks to get their preferred college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've chosen it as I always wanted to pursue political science hons . Pol science hons is no doubt one of the best course here .. all the faculty members of this department are too much supportive. Exams held in two semesters every year and the difficulty level is not much as political science itself a theoretical subject .
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship yet. But there are some internship called summer internship and winter internship which held every year in which students can pursue their interest in particular field .
Placement Experience :
There is no placement for courses like political science hons in this college . But other courses like journalism , english hons , bsc electronic etc are some courses which provides placement opportunities to their students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees of political science hons here is approximately 15 k per annum in all three years . Apart from it examination fees also charged twice per year as per the students subject selection.
Campus Life :
The annual fest of this college named yuvan held every year in month of February. There are some instagram pages like chanakya mac , srijan mac etc which are linked to the college . There are too many societies like Natraj, etc through which student can enhance themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
Actually hostel facility is only available for girls here that's why I don't know much about it. But as per my knowledge hostel facility is too much good and the management committee of hostel always committed to give their best .

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.

talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
