- College campus is at centre of the city.
- Patient inflow is quite high. Hospital is good.
Dislikes
- Hostels are too old to live. Walls are almost completely damaged.
Remarks :
GDC was top choice in Punjab for me. This is because hospital and patient flow is very good at this college. This gives students good opportunities for practice which helps them to improve the skills. No GD/PI took place. Admission was fully online.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is very good. In the first year human as well as dental anatomy is taught which makes the base for further understanding of dentistry. Faculties in college are good which help in every aspect of college.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship program is offered after completion of the four year of the course. An average stipend of 15000 is provided to every student who is doing their internship from the college. This gives good exposure to students.
Placement Experience :
After the completion of four year course, one year of internship is provided. During this period students gets quite good clinical exposure. This helps to improve their skills for further professional life. Stipend is offered as well.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st year fee is 80000. An increment of 10% takes place every year. Scholarship is awarded only for SC catagory. Other fees like registration fee ,hostel fee, etc are charged. For SC catagory full fee is recovered from scholarship.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is quite happening. Twice or thrice college events are organised which is too much fun. College magazine is published every year in which students are given chance to show their talent.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is quite old. So the condition of rooms is not too good. Food in the mess is average. Not too bad but definitely not good as well. Procedure to apply for hostel is simple. Once you have taken admission have a visit in hostel and select the room. Once done, inform warden and room is alloted.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
