- Our college library is the best place to study, Fully air conditioned, neat and clean and silent mostly
- 2nd best is our canteen food and thier affordability
Dislikes
- College's old infrastructure, but now they have developed and redesigned it but still need some improvement in some areas.
- College ground is good but not open all time, sometimes cricket matches played there and we were not allowed to go inside ground.
Remarks :
I gave entrance exam ug cuet 2023 for admission in this college and by applying through Delhi University CSAS Portal i was allotted to this college on the basis of preference and CUET marks. I got this college for cutoff like 450/800 in OBC category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course for my personal interest in computer and technology. Qualification of teachers are phd in CS and net JRF qualified. Exams are moderate sometimes tough and sometimes ok ok, previous year question will help for the examination. Exams held every 6 months.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for small internship under college website development and design. This intership is for only 2 weeks and only free unlimited food offered to us which is great in terms of work efforts. I used to work as graphic designer for image and logos of society and campus.
Placement Experience :
I am in 2nd year thats why don't no much about placement, but here placement commerce role and management role are more than technical role like for bsc students there is less opportunities. I have heard from senior that commerce students get mostly placed here
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees is approx 41,000 per year. That means 1,20,000 for 3 years and 1,60,000 for 4 years. Scholarship available for selected students like for Economically weaker section, on the basis of income certificate and all that.
Campus Life :
Fest is good and fun not that much games and activities based , more performances oriented. Books are available in library and our library is the best in overall college even comparing to other Du colleges. Sports of our college is also good with many games and a big ground for cricket specially and for other activities also available like chess, carrom, badminton, football etc. Groups and clubs are also good i am in a tech society names Techwhiz.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
