Remarks :
Admission process is straightforward. Just apply online through website or offline and the counsellor will guide you through the entire process. They accept JEE Mains and CGPET score. For admission through JEE Mains you must have scored 45+ percentile. Which is easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is outdated. Labs suck big time. Practical = writing/copying in your practical file. No actual practical is conducted or are rare. Only a few faculties are good enough. Most of them don't even know what they are teaching. Don't expect timely term exams. They are so random. Questions are of medium difficulty level. But paper checking is pretty bad. Don't be surprised when you see random numbers as marks in your marksheet.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition Fees is around 77000 per year. There are Training Fees 1000 per semester for Soft Skill classes. And 1000 is charged as Book Bank Fee per semester. No scholarship is offered by the college but you can apply for government scholarships if you are elligible based on the category you belong to.
Campus Life :
Pretty chill. There aren't enough clubs to be part of though. Only academic related books are available in the Library. College Fest Vyom is usually organised in April. Classrooms are basic with a projector which is hardly ever used. Good thing it is not used to be honest. Its quality sucks. And why don't they add a white board on the front wall? For extracurricular there's a basketball court, and field area to play cricket or football, etc. But nothing else.

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
