- Campus is quite huge and free gym library parks everything is available
- Academics are taken very seriously there is criteria of 85% attendance
Dislikes
- Hostels are not so up to mark They are very old
- No big concerts and you can't go out of the campus without gate passes which are provided by the wardens with the long process

Course Curriculum Overview :
B.sc.( hon) community science which was earlier known as home science provides you multiple options for future it is not so specific to one branch Professors, assistant professors, associate professors, and sometimes phd students teach us There are 2 periodic test in every sem and main semester exam with lab finals
Internships Opportunities :
As I am first year students till now I haven't applied for any internships But our seniors told us they took many internships in first year only They got around 5000 rs in there first intership in first year
Placement Experience :
Placements are mostly available for bsc ag students For community science students placements are there after masters Few students get it after bachelors also For doing masters in pantnagar students who have done bsc from there only are preferred
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first semester fee for college is around 30000 and 20000 for hostel and mess There are many scholarship available for St sc students and other top scorers Students who take admission for icar also get scholarship
Campus Life :
There are many college and university level societies Pantnagar university has the biggest campus in India Library stadium gym everything in available You can even check availability of books in library online through website Number of events and sports activities with academics takes place
Hostel Facilities :
All the students except day scholars have to live in hostels there are total 11-12 hostels in pantnagar all the first year students(girls and boys separately) live in same hostel then form second year they live according to there course

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
