Remarks :
The factor the make me to choose this college is that it the only good government college in uttarakhand not good but compares to other college in state it is the best. also its cheap fee structure helps you to do your bachelor without any financial problem you can easily afford. Admission is done by the counselling which is conducted by UTU(uttarakhand technical university) online at there website first you have to pay registration fees of 2000 which is non refundable then you have to select the colleges and branch is a order on the priority you how you want them. Admission is based in your JEE mains score card once you get your preferable seat on the result of first round of counselling just freeze it and if you are not satisfy the withdraw the seat but in case you want the seat but want further upgradation for the upper branch in your preference list go for float. freeze and float charge you 10000 which is non refundable..
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am pursuing Electronics and communication ad it is the best branch you can pursue here this branch has the best faculty from the first year till last year while in other branches professor didn't come over months to teach. also there is one to one interaction of professor with student they will clear all the doubts in some subject while you don't even understand what professor is saying or what he/she is teaching you have to cover all the syllabus by your self. you have to give two internals before the final exam which is above moderate level you have to study regularly to score good there is nothing like one night fight in first year.
Internships Opportunities :
there is nothing like internship here you will have to do everything by your own also there is no tech club that will teach you about the soft skills the college is based on totally old method of teaching.
Placement Experience :
if you are in the hope for on campus placement here you are in the wrong direction. every year 10 to 15 students get placed on average package of 4 to 5 lakh per annum and companies like TCS, Accenture hired them on contract. many student prepare for their GATE exams here. highest package placed is 8 lakh and average package of 4 lakh.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college fee structure is pretty good its the cheapest college for b.tech at first you have to pay 10000 for freezing the seat then you have to pay 57000 at the time of admission which includes hostel and tuition fees both you don't have to pay other than this for a semester there is also a TWF(Tuition fee waiver) seat in which the fees minimize you have to select that at the time of counselling make sure you select both the seat with TFW or without. so that if don't get TFW you will get a normal seat. There are also scholarship programs introduced by university for SC,ST and OBC students which includes whole your tuition fees and sometimes hostel fee.
Campus Life :
The campus is not pretty much good there is nothing in the name of campus life if you are hoping you well get late night hangout, late night parties this is not your place there is only badi market in which you will get all essential things also there is choti market and 2 more canteens which are not in good condition. Let me tell you all the societies and clubs are useless and hypocrtic except 1 or 2. College is totally agriculture based. If we talked about fest there is only one tech fest named coloseum. The library is pretty good also there is lab with free internet you can study there. a well structured stadium with both girls and boys gym. There is ETS(engineering and technology society) that run by students and conduct COLOSIUEM THE TECH FEST
Hostel Facilities :
first year girls hostel named SARASRWATI which is pretty good the hostel food is also good menu of hostel food is decided by food committee made by the students and daily checking of food quality and food is done by students. mess is clean and hygienic. there is some documents you needed to submit for hostel which has been mailed by the college you will get a free wi fi. renting of PG are not allowed here. the hostel timings for girls is 6 in winter and 7 in summer.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
