- the infrastructure is not that good as it is a new iiit and the campus is still under construcution but classrooms are superb and the faculty is top notch and far better when comapred to the faculty of other institutes.
- the campus is located very near to chennai so u can go there on weekends and hangout there in beaches and malls in chennai
Dislikes
- the foos is not that good here but if u want to u can order food online from the the restaurants nearby anytime
- the sports facilities here are the worst u will not have proper grounds here to play and learn new sports
Remarks :
this college is located very near to the tech hub chennai and it is also located in a integrated business city called sricity and the college also has good placements with decent packages. to get into this college u need to get a good percentile in jee mains and the seat will allocated to u according to your percentile to get computer science and engineering in this collge u have to get 97 percentile in jee mains.

the cirriculum of this college is designed on the cirriculum of indian institute of technology hyderabad and international institute of information technology hyderabad so the the cirriculum is superb and based on industrial needs and faculty here is top notch and highly educated and involved in research so they are very much aware of the subject they teach and the academics are a bit diificult .
Internships Opportunities :
no i have not opted for any interships currently and thinking to go for masters and im currently preparing for gate exam and many good and top companies also hire interns from this college with decents stipends
Placement Experience :
the reason im in this college is because of its placements in the last 5 years are very attractive with decent packages and many companies such as google amazon infosys wipro accenture caterpillar bosch nvidia amd and many more campanies visit this college and hire students with decent packages and according to the placements last year 87 percent of the stdents were placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the college fees for the first year of my college is 360000 which increases by ten thousand every till my graduation and hostel fee and mess fee are 20000 and 22000 per semester and u can also apply for scholarship offered by state government or central government and there is fee consession for sc/st students.
Campus Life :
the infrastructure of this college is not that good but we do have modern era classrooms which are air conditioned and we have many clubs in the college u can join them and learn many new things and the library here is also quiet good with decent books the sports facilities here are not that good due to it is a research oriented institute and the two main fests here are utkrishta the tech fest and abhisarga the cultural fest.
Hostel Facilities :
the hostel food in the mess is not that good but u can adjust and the quality of the food is ok and u have stay in the hostel as it is mandatory for students to stay in the hostels. the hostel infrastructure is good and the hostels are ver clean and neat as they are newly constructed and the mess in fully air conditioned.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
