I got selected in this college via government counseling programme conducted by Karnataka examination authority (KEA) after my NEET exam college offers 200 seats with 15% quota for all india student and the remaining 85% for Karnataka students To get admission in this college writing NEET exam is mandatory and depending upon the caste /quota you belongs to the requirement of marks vary usually all india quota (AIQ) students require more marks than Karnataka students I selected this college in my first round of counselling itself because it is one of the oldest colleges established in 1961 and got autonomous in 1996 and having very big campus of around 171 acres provides very good environment and the another main reason for choosing this college is the medical college hospital which is very big and separate building for almost every department fully equipped central laboratory and separate operation theatre complex building Hospital comes under top 10 medical college hospitals
Course Curriculum Overview :
after 3 years of hard work I got selected in this college (BMC&RC, Bellary) Bad aspect about this course I can say stress syllabus is very wast and we have frequently appear for internal exams and then university exams, and after the MBBS course there will be NEET PG exams we've prepare for that too so all these factors may lead you to be stressed almost all over the course but it depends on you how will you take it Some good friends can make this stressful journey into an unforgettable memories also qualifications of faculty in this college almost doctors are MD and MS and many are pHd and MCH holders also Term exams - there will be 3 internal exams in every phase of MBBS (phase-1, 2,3) conducted by the college itself in all these exams we've score average 50% including all theory and practicals Based on your internal exams you'll be got eligibility for university exams University exams pattern - theory minimum 40% and pratical minimum 40% and average of both should be minimum 50%
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I am studying in 3rd year of MBBS we'll have our internship after out final year for now we have clinical postings for 3 hrs daily Karnataka government provide a good amount of stipend to the MBBS interns
Placement Experience :
One year of internship is already includes in the degree programme and college provides stipend of ?30,000/month during internship Internship is quite hectic as the patient count is high for the hospital

It's a government college under Rajiv gandhi university of health Sciences offer various courses in medical stream like MBBS, BSc nursing, MD, MS For MBBS university charges 65500/ year For pg(MD, MS) it charges around 2 lakhs/year
Campus Life :
College offers budget for various events like Ganesh chaturthi, karnataka rahyotsava, college day, and graduation day etc There is seprate a big ground in college Gym-very old gym which is not equipped that much Extracurricular activities- most students are not that active in participating because of academics Sports -rguhs conduct tournaments every year in almost every sport at college leve, zonal level, university level, state level Library- there is an old library currently buy a new library ni ready which fully equipped and full of all kind of books
Hostel Facilities :
Some of the hostel are old and quite smaller in size and the new hostel provide a good rooms Hostel Mentainance is good they come and clean the rooms daily and There is drinking water on every floor Mess food is good and mess is under students control itself

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
