- Some how it's a good college compared to other government college in Karnataka since it have big campus with good environment in case of study or other things
- Yearly 2-3 festival will be conducted in the academic session this will improve creativity among students with study Good infrastructure faculty will be provided in this institution
Dislikes
- Since Bellary is called as Steel City of India since it have worst environment In summer their will 45°+ temperature seen in Bellary since very hard to serv in that condition
- Faculty number nowadays decrease with time All the faculty coming on contract based With less experience
Remarks :
First of all I'm belong to the hk region so for me this college near my home town that's why I choose this college for the first option And on the basis of my merit also this college was allotted through KEA It is on of the ancient college It started since 1964 It's old college So many experiences faculty we will get And practical specimen collection also we will get And the system of conducting exams is very scary Big holl will be provided for students where nearly 200 students written exam Their will be councelling for getting seat in this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBBS is total 5.5 year course It includes 4.5 year+ one year compulsory Intership In intership you will paid by government as stipend per month 30 thousand In first year 3 subject will be there Anatomy physiology and biochemistry In second year 3 subject Pathology microbiology phermac In 3 rd year only two subjects PSM and forensic In final year 4 major Pediatrics OBG Surgery Medicine You need to give 4 University exams Then one year internship Faculty system in VIMS It's really good But staff members little bit less Well experienced cooperative faculty are available They explain detail about the topic on bed side only
Internships Opportunities :
Their will be one year compulsory Intership will be provided by college With stipend by government Opted in different departments for months and weeks where you need to give your service And get experience of every subject
Placement Experience :
No placements will be thair in medical colleges But 1 year compulsory Intership will be there You will get monthly stipend in intership Nearly 30 thousand per month It will be credited in 3 instalment After intership you will practice any where you get opportunity Or else you will prepare for NEET PG exam
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As per the government rool 65000 tution fees and 5000 will be the exam fees but the Karnataka government will provide you 59650 scholarship by means of SSP scholarship Per yearly thair will be same tution fees but the exam fees may differ If you get government seat their will be worth of getting this coarse
Campus Life :
Campus of VIMS really good campus in Karnataka compared to other government college in Karnataka About social life in Bellary campus is really good Senior junior relation Understanding with staff Better experience i get till now
Hostel Facilities :
New building with good infrastructure Big double shear rooms Cot bed will be provided Couberd table chair also be given Daily cleaning staff will be thair for each floor Each floor have water cooler Filter water supply also thair for drinking purpose Each floor have one study room just like little library Talking about mess It's a bestest mess in Karnataka government medical college Students lead the mess Good quality food will be delivered Hostel fees monthly 300 rupees Mess fees nearly 2500-2800 Maintaines fee's per annum 15-20 thousand will be the fees structure
