Likes
- what i like about the college is the crowd is mostly mumbai based which improves the quality of students in the campus it includes various amended like canteen small garden, qudrangles, etc this is my campus life at thakurs
- teachers are not good not bad but decent
- infrastructure is very modern and it consists of seven floors including auditorium's library staff rooms classrooms and other important sections which conducts events and management throughout the college
Dislikes
- what i dislike about the campus is it can be a bit bigger
- the faculty of the college mostly the teachers do their job for just namesake they just give lectures and leave they dont really know how to interact with the class properly
Remarks :
I chose this college because it has earned a good name for it. No, i didn't faced any entrance exam or gdpi round. it was all fees based admission process. the bad aspects of my college are that the teachers are not very much into their work
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose this course as an option after i didn't received admission for the course i actually wanted i.e. BMS but further i blended into this course and started liking it and now i wanna do my MBA in finance teaching method was simple, regular lectures were conducted from monday to saturday in our classrooms. there used to be 4 exams every year divided into term exams and class tests term exams were around 60 marks and 40 marks were tests and assignments/ ppt projects etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
sem 1: 33,770 sem 2: 27,075 sem 3: 35,600 sem 4:28,875 sem 5: 36,047 sem 6 : 24,950 for categories other than mine fees very pretty less because as of commerce background highest fees were in the BAF and BMM courses
Campus Life :
our fest name is TAARANGAN conducted in the month of january library had amole of books in it our classrooms had good infrastructure and was fully A/C equipped Thakur college is very famous for their name in sports like cricket and football players from thakur college are now playing in big football leagues like ISL and other national level tournaments Students run meme pages of colleges and other departmental pages on social media which are also very popular amongst the college students

An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
