- The campus life in college is amazing.you can get so many chances to develop your social skills.The exposure about new opportunities in education is also very good .
- The most of the proffessors are very supportive and helpful.there experience levels helps a lot to learn things regarding your course.
Dislikes
- The worst part is hostel infrastructure and hostel food. There are unnecessary rules and regulations like you cannot take parcel food to your room and eat ,your parents cannot come to your room etc.
- Other thing I don't like about college is it's uniform system there is no uniform for college students which I personally think is not good as uniform is a symbol of equality. Also the placements after BSc is not available for students so it creates difficulty formany students who cannot afford to take higher studies .
Remarks :
The main thing about college which attract large number of young ones is it's historic reputation it's legacy. The college is established in 1884 and so many great personalities got their education form here. Currently it is the no.1 college in Maharashtra to study life sciences. The all India nirf ranking of this college is 45 and in Maharashtra it is 1. The admissions for BSc is simple and based on the marks of 12th class and there is entrance exam for masters degree. For general category the cutoff of 12th marks for BSc admission is quite high like above 90 and for reserved it is comparatively less. The entrance exam for masters is depends on respective courses like it can be for 50 or 100 marks mcq test. There are many good things about college like you can get a best exposure to develope your carrier and also their are bad aspects like no uniform is there, some course facilities are not that much take interest in teaching seriously.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is very good.I choose this course because I want to continue my studies in life sciences and probably it is the best college in my state.The most proffessors in my coursework have their masters degree and they are net qualified and some have PhD in that field. Almost every professor teaches very good.the experience levels of all the professors is very much in the field so it helps a lot. The exams are taken in two phases like internal and external total 100 marks are there internal for 50 and external for 50.The internal again divided in two parts CE1 and CE2. The CE1 is depends on the proffessors of respective subjects like they can give you presentations, posters presentation,group discussions,assignment etc.The CE 2 pattern is same for all the subjects it is based on objective and subjective type. The external exam pattern is fixed for all the subjects like it is subjective type of test and questions are for 2,3,4,5, marks and it is for total 50 marks.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no intership opportunities directly provided by college but you can get to know what opportunities are available because of advertisements and through proffessors. Even If your get and internships there is no stipend available or you have to work with very less stipend.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities after BSc is not available there.There are placements after masters degree in the college.the average package after placement is 3 to 4 lakhs per annum.percentage of students getting placed is also less like 50 to 60 percent can get their placement. I'm doing my masters from other institute after my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For general category the fees for first year is 23000 and 33000 for second and third year. For other reserved categories fees are comparatively less like half of the fees of general students.There are many scholarships available for genaral and category students like Mahadbt scholarships like Rajarshi shahu scholarship scheme,Dr.punjabrao Deshmukh scholarship, eklavya scholarship scheme etc. The fees I have mentioned are for last 3 years when the course is based on old education policy,now the course is running on the bases of new education policy so there may be slight increase in fees.
Campus Life :
The social life is best in the college campus. There are many clubs like social outreach enabling centre, nature club,NSS is there so overall you can get many chances to enhance your social skills. Spandan -cultural event /fest organised by college every year in month of December orJanuary where anyone can take part and show their talents. The sport facilities are available in the college campus like badminton court is there basket ball court, cricket ground is there and also gym is present in campus which is free to use for college students. The central library is there - BJ Wadia library where more than 2 lakhs of books are available for students.
Hostel Facilities :
I lived in the hostel for 3 years .the hostel fees are quite high comparing with facilities.the hostels are too old.the hostel fees are nearly 55000 pers year.The some rules and regulations of hostels are unnecessary like eatables not allowed in your own room you cannot take your parents to your room etc.Fan is not there ,you have to clean your rooms by yourself,also the infrastructure is not good. The food quality of hostel is very bad. Registration process of hostel is you have to apply from website of college then they will publish a merit list for hostel too then if you are in list then you will get a hostel room . The best thing about hostel is they provides you with a single room.

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
