Likes
- Faculty are very experienced and supportive with good motivating skills. Proper time to time future guidance by faculty. Also single teacher is assigned to 3-5 students for mentor mentee, for doubt solving and discussing innovative ideas,. Faculty with focused on practical approach of learning, student centric environment.
- Campus life is awesome, annual fest, departmental fest, different different societies and club for intereste, outdoor and indoor sports with both closed and open gym area. Auditorium with proper audio video aids and nice friendly environment. Ragging free campus.
Dislikes
- The high cost price of items in cafeteria and less siting space inside the cafeteria. Also the less number of food items available with mostly fixed menu.
- Less parking space for students. Also the lawn Tennis ground is not properly maintained, with table tennis room having only one table. Some time issue with cleaning of basketball ground also.
Remarks :
One should prefer it bcz of it's education and friendly environment, well equipped labs, play ground and conference hall. Also it is near bust stand, metro station and mainly to Palam railway station. Mainly the admission criteria is cut off based, a small group discussion is all their at my time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Everything was well managed and properly scheduled, Teacher student ratio was also good, Various extracurricular activities, Teachers are experienced and supportive, course is well designed with NEP and provide diverse knowledge of subject.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for training in immunological technique, antigen - antibody reaction, learned about preparation and use of monoclonal antibodies. And role of different antibodies and their engineering and earned a valuable certificate for the same from university of delhi
Placement Experience :
As such there is no placement opportunities are there, but you can further go for higher studies with good base, you can also apply for different labs or can join project in CSIR labs. We are also eligible for several graduate level exams, chl etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees for Bsc Honor's zoology per year is 7500 indian rupees, also additional 5000 security deposit in first year, which later paid back after you complete your degree, overall fees for three year is around 21 to 25K. Student can avail scholarship according to their eligibility criteria.
Campus Life :
The most exciting days are fest days, annual fest usually conducted in February last, also every department conduct departmental fest. Interdepartmental activities and sports weeks were also organized. Library have all the necessary facilities, has department blocks for different subject books and a common section of journals and newspapers. Good sitting area with proper lighting. Several clubs and societies are there like dance, drama( bhaand) etc. Nice play ground with separate court for volleyball, basketball, kho kho, badminton, open gym, cricket ground, football field.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
