Likes
- The campus life is very happening with a lot of extra curriculars to try.
- The infrastructure is nice. College is spread in 200 acre area with a second campus being built as well.
Dislikes
- Faculty. Because I'm not interested in a core job. Also i feel the faculties are a little inflexible.
- Mess. I personally feel our mess is very bad.
Remarks :
I got this college from josaa councelling from my jee advanced test scores. Good aspects is that it's an iit so of course we have our perks, but unfortunately the placements of core branches is not very high as compared to top 10 iits. The admission process is not very complicated we are guided thoroughly. The cutoffs vary each year especially for females due to reserved seats for women.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did not choose this course myself, I was alloted chemical engineering from my jee advanced results. All the faculties are renounced IIT professors with PhDs from foreign universities or other IITs. Exams happen twice every semester, mid sem and end sem exams, and quizzes happen throughout the semester. The difficulty level is alright, not too hard not too easy.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I got offered an internship in PhonePe in software role. My stipend is 80,000 for a month and the duration is two months. The task hasn't been clarified yet but it's a software role, we'll be notified the details prior to joining that's in May this year.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good, IIT perks. Big companies like Google, microsoft, goldman Sachs, phonepe, paytm, reliance, cairn oil, ongc, godrej, Salesforce, BNY Mellon, jaguar, tata steel and many more such companies visit the campus. Around 50-60 percent students get placed. Highest CTC for this year is around 60 lpa and avg varies with days. For day 1 the avg ctc was around 22 lpa. I plan on getting placed in a tech profile.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For each semester we pay a tution fees of 1 lakh with hostel fees of 2000 and mess charges of 18000. Fees varies a little bit for monsoon and winter semester with monsoon semester fees being around 1,36,000 approx and winter semester fees being 1,26,000 approx for general category students without any tution fee waiver.
Campus Life :
Life is very happening in campus, with multiple cultural clubs, technical clubs, almost all the sports facilities like two grounds, a swimming pool, gym, badminton court, squash court. We also have a student activity centre. We have a lot of fests happening throughout the year, the biggest one is srijan our annual socio cultural fest which is the largest fest in the east indian colleges with a quite high footfall.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess is not good, the food tastes bad even after paying 18000 rupees per semester. We have a lot of varieties but the taste is poor. The registration process for hostel is easy and happens at the same time when admission happens. The hostels are inside our campus with walkable distance to lecture hall. Also the campus is closed so it is safe even at night and there are a lot security guards everywhere.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College
Placement Experience :
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
