Remarks :
I had attended the jee exam and cleared it and I had alloted seat in THIS IIT ISM DHANBAD clg in counselling process and I haven't choosen this I got randomly . And for coming to group discussions and interview vwevare in still 1st year so we don't know more about that and we are trying to know about them from our seniors , pre final years and final years. To get admission in this college I had written JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is better that they are offering everyone in first year of same courses except the respective branch subjects so that the students get to know about the basics of every work and ,,............. ....... The staff are teaching well but some topics are very difficult to listen and some are very tough just like understanding humans behaviour is subject of psychology this contains only theory every thing has to mugged up by students and some are to be understanding and some subjects are interesting like manufacturing process, computer programming and basics of electrical engineering
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in IIT ISM dhanbad is like for General and OBC and ews students total fee is 126000RS per SEMESTER which contains 1 lakh tution fee , 18000rs for mess and 8400rs for others . For sc ,st,obc and ews students whose annual family income is below 1 lakh for those tution fee is not to be paid and rest are applicable and for them if income is between 1lakh to 5 lakhs 33%of tution fee is removed and for income more than 5 lakhs are to paid total as the general students are paying. For counselling you have to pay 35000rs
Campus Life :
The life in campus is very nice and we are interactive with our seniors and prefinal years and final years and also with our batchmates and we made group yobshare the notes and things which are helpful to exams and quizs and assignments and vivas yo get well score and we will solve our doubts each other and we are in unity recently we went to game changer and daaku maharaj movie both movies are very nice and we enjoyed alot in movie and also we went to restaurant for food after game changer movie and then went to daaku maharaj movie Today we have a interactive meet with our batchmates we enjoyed alot at there.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is provided by the college and the message also provided by the clg management the infrastructure of the college is very beautiful and the college is going to complete 100 years in next years and for this they wanted to build a new block

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
