- College infrastructure is improving with time the faculties are very supportive speciality electrical engineering faculties there is a good campus life all the seniors are also very supportive they help you in every competition the best thing is sports it needs a lot of discipline to be in any sports team and it is the most active club in NIT Jamshedpur
Dislikes
- In starting I used to dislike the mess food but it has also now improved and the infrastructure needs to be improved which is improving with time and more shop should be opened in nearby areas
Remarks :
The college is very good in terms of placement but lacks in some aspects in infrastructure the admission is taken through JEE Mains examination and my exact rank was 23712 for which I got electrical branch for the examination I prepare by giving regular mock tests of motion education which helped me a lot
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this college because it was the best I was getting in my rank and I wanted to go in circuital branch All the faculties here are highly qualified and have good teaching experience the exams are taken very frequently we have to give mid semester and and semester within a gap of 2 months and the academic calendar is very good we get a lot of time for self studies apart from our branch course
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship till now majorly the internship is for the third years inside the campus and it is very hard to get a paid internship out of the students eligible for internship less than 50% of them get an internship in there 3rd year
Placement Experience :
The min CG for most of the companies is 7.5 for my branch and in non core 8.5 CG is required to get a good placement The top recruiters for my branch are havels,adani,tata,samsung,HP;Atlassian, Qualcomm,microsoft,amazon oracle The highest package in my branch was 83.4 LPA which was offered to three students by Atlassian the average was about 15LPA almost all the students eligible to sit in placements are placed Currently I have not thinked of anything about my next plans
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In the first semester it would cost you 144500 rupees including the councelling fees and hostel and mess fees and after that 107500 per semester which includes hostel and mess fees But if you are family income is less than 5 lacs and above 1 lakh 2/3 of the tuition fees is deducted and if the family income is less than 1 lakh the whole tuition fee is deducted for the whole semester The banks inside the college provide students loans at lower rate of interest for the benefit of students who cant afford the fees
Campus Life :
There are many fests held in our college but out of them the main fests are Urja -the sports fest which is held in the month of October Ojass -the technical fest held in the month of Feburary Culfest-The cultural fest held in the month of January The classrooms are very good and because of the new lecture hall which has fully centralised AC the sports facilities are also very good a lot of discipline is needed to be in any sports team which is leaded by our seniors There are various clubs related to cultural technical the cultural clubs are Awahan -the acting club LDS - literary and debating society SSC- soft skill club Rooh-singing club Beat Breakers-the dance club Faces -The painting club Technical clubs are Innoreva,Daksh,Pheonix and PCON the official coding club
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality was previously bad bad now they have improved it it is compulsory to take hostel in 1st year and it is assigned at the day of registrationthe rooms are given at random basis but they try to keep same branch students together

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
