The Good thing about this college is the environment around the college and behaviour of students about studies is valuable. The only bad thing I got to feel in this college is that some teachers are so egoistic and rude to students that students even fear them to ask a simple question. I got admission in this college through CUET UG EXAM and after the result , I applied for college in DELHI UNIVERSITY, and after CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) Round, I was allocated this college with BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (PHYSICAL SCIENCE WITH CHEMISTRY). I prepared for CUET UG EXAM after passing my 12th Exam.
I got this course in CSAS Round but not willingly though it was last on my preference list. The facilities are well qualified and experienced but also very egoistic and rude. Though they teach well but if you ask them again they act like you are dumb. The term exams were a bit earlier than last year but the difficulty level of exams were moderate so that students can do well.
As of today's world, The fee structure is acceptable and affordable to the lower middle class also and as per my observation the facilities, activities and education is quite good. There are also scholarships for students and also concession on for PWDs and for different category. As for BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (PHYSICAL SCIENCE WITH CHEMISTRY) , the annual fee is 18900 and it might get increased yearly.
The Annual Fest which our college organise is "TIDE" and it will be organised in February. There are lots of books and lots of magazines etc. And a capacity of 200+ students in the library and very supportive and helpful staff of library will help you to have no problem there. There are different sports team like Football, Volleyball, Cricket etc. There are many social groups like Shikhar for mounting, NSS for social awareness and well being.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
