Remarks :
More than 60 percent in their graduation is a eligibility criteria must be a Indian National and must qualify joint admission test (JAM) and the cut off rank is 1200 -1400 for general candidates and their is an Institute mode admission ( the notification is given in the official website of NIT)
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty are hardworking and syllabus is gate net orientated the labs are developing with new equipments . There are frequent tests and assessment which make students read a lot to cope up with their lessons
Internships Opportunities :
I did internship in iiser kolkata near my home town there was no stipend I did a project in computational chemistry and did some photodissociation study of molecules with a computation method or algorithm (MCTDH)
Placement Experience :
Professors help student for getting internships in Institute like iiser other iits and nits the placement cell is quite active in the providing job opportunity and the professor always boost the moral of the students .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
17000 tution fees per semester 25000 mess fees ( refundable) 13000 hostel rents and other charges and if anyone belongs from resered category like sc and st they will get redemption of 7500 from the total fees of 55000 per semester
Campus Life :
There are two events like one tech event cognitia and another cultural event sishir other than this there are sport events like football cricket and indoor games like table tennis chess etc along with this there are few departmental events
Hostel Facilities :
Food is ok upon admission there will be option for opting for hostels moreover the hostels are newly developed and are quite clean and tidy the hostel rate nominal to that of rent as the rents are quite high.

The employment rate of my course is demanding so I opt this. Also there is campus opportunity for some courses available in the college. After biotechnology you can choose any profession like professor researcher etc .

Job opportunities from our college is not quite good, but our college is renowned for their excellence in commerce so employability after completion of course is not a big issue especially for me, i personally would like to get involved in financial sectors

Since it's a college affiliated under NEHU, so there's only graduation course here. But if you want to do masters you have go to NEHU for that. Only then you will get a good placement. But I had friends in other departments they were given the opportunity to sit for placement interview but again the package isn't as high as someone would get after post graduation.

Placement opportunities were not directly available but many companies and institutions scouted our students through seminars and programmes for further job after the degree. The package differed from student to student and they were offered individually to them so it was hard to know the exact number.

But as I’ve heard from my seniors, the placements here are quite good and many of the students grab the placement opportunities that are offered here.
