This is a very reputed college for economics and has a very rich history in the same field. You have to give cuet for admission that's it. And in cuet your subjects will be eng and gt .There is no relaxation in fees for any category
Curriculum is nicely set up with the mixture of theory and practicality and academics too faculty is nice they teach very nicely every concept and the economics behind it. Overall it's good only . Experience is nice
I haven't really opted for any internship as of now because I just completed my first sem but I'm really looking forward to internship after my second sem. Hopefully it will be a nice experience to indulge in my summer holidays
Placements are good for masters but not really for bachelors and as of current market situation placements aren't good anywhere so you should opt for off campus placement as well and not just depend on college for your placement
For everyone it's the same there is no relief in fees for any categories. For fy and sy it is 189400 and for ty and fourth year it will be 200000. And yes it will increase with the time being and inflation ofc
There is not much about college life. There are clubs but there is no annual fest for bachelors though they keep some activities here and there like prom, talent show and hunt. But yeah overall it's good
No I haven't applied for hostel provided by college because I didn't really like it kuch they just started hostel for bachelors this year and it wasn't any good rooms arey very small and washroom is very very small
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
