Yeah, the institute has taken an entrance exam which was organized by GIPE itself at the online center. the question was related to economics which has already been taught in undergraduate. After that shortlisting of candidates was done based on marks obtained in the entrance exam.
So most of the students take this college only for placement. But this college is a research college. GIPE comes in the top 5 masters in economics colleges in India. Well-qualified faculty are enrolled with this college and they too are helpful. There are 4 semesters 2 in 1 year, and the level of the exam is not so tough.
So unfortunately I didn't get any internship in my academic session. But yeah college also provides for the internship opportunity. They mostly offer for the role of Data analyst or consulting but different roles are also provided to the students it depends on the interest of students. So, mostly during the internship projects are done on Machine learning, python, and SQL.
Okay so their are basically 6 courses which is offered by college. All the courses have equal opportunity for the placement and it totally depend on the student ability. Recruiters like ICICI Bank, JP Morgan, BOSCH, Delloite and more than 25 recruiters visit are college. The average package range from 10- 12 lakh.
Yeah, the college campus is well established and it provides a warm welcoming nature. Lots of involvement of students in the college fest keeps all the students excited. College is well equipped with an open library with one of the most books overall the Pune. Different committees regularly organize different events throughout the year. Sports, culture, Dance, Debate, and many more. Lots of learning is there for the students.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
