- Faculty is very supportive and friendly, campus is also nature loving where you can sit in garden under trees and spend some time.
- College provides you good exposure through societies and various other competitions.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure can be maintained and also improved the equipments in lab must be changed.
- Location of the college is not good. It's very difficult for the people who travel from different areas as the nearest metro station is 9km away from the college.
Remarks :
The course which I wanted to do is best suited in this college and also I just wanted to get the course any how college wasn't my preference. To get admission in this college you have to give CUET UG where you have to give three domain subjects. And the cut off can vary according to the university.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good as it provides a base for the one's who want to pursue carrier in research. Academics and faculty is also good the faculty members are friendly and supportive. Academics is good but the paper level is not that high you can easily study and crack university papers with 10 days of studying.
Placement Experience :
There is no placements offered by this college till now but there is a placement cell which is activated this year. So if you don't want to have placement you can continue with your masters degree in any reliable field. Or you can go for a four year degree after which you can give NET exam.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total tution fees is 15k per year excluding the examination cost of approximately 2k for Life Sciences. And for the mess and hostels you have to go different as college don't offer any kind of hostel or mess facility.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is good, you get a high chance of interaction with others. We have many societies where you can enhance and brush up the artist within you. Also we have department societies where we can get more information.
Hostel Facilities :
You have to find hostels and mess in local areas as college don't offer any type of hostel facilities. You will find a good pg and mess at a rate of 7-8k according to the amenities. Infrastructure of the pg here is good enough for the hostel and mess you can contact to any related person here only.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
