Review before experiencing
What I Liked
The college ground usually utilised by the NCC students and library is good , have good availability of books.
What I didn’t like
The canteen is very small and lacks all type of food availablity
Course Curriculum Overview:
The professors are highly qualified and almost every teacher is a PhD and have a good teaching style.
The semester is of 6 months and 4 months are taken to complete the syllabus then 1 month for internal assessment and then the final semester exams happen
Placement Experience:
The placement rate is very low ,there wasn't a active placement cell . Now, the placement is improved but I'm recent time it was almost zero and no placements or the internships were provided to the students.
Faculty is very supportive and friendly, campus is also nature loving where you can sit in garden under trees and spend some time.
College provides you good exposure through societies and various other competitions.
What I didn’t like
Infrastructure can be maintained and also improved the equipments in lab must be changed.
Location of the college is not good. It's very difficult for the people who travel from different areas as the nearest metro station is 9km away from the college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is good as it provides a base for the one's who want to pursue carrier in research. Academics and faculty is also good the faculty members are friendly and supportive. Academics is good but the paper level is not that high you can easily study and crack university papers with 10 days of studying.
Placement Experience:
There is no placements offered by this college till now but there is a placement cell which is activated this year. So if you don't want to have placement you can continue with your masters degree in any reliable field. Or you can go for a four year degree after which you can give NET exam.
The college has good faculty related to commerce and science department.
What I didn’t like
The infrastructure of college is very poor.
The library facilities of old building is not so much good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I this this college is good in education facilities I think this college provide best education in minimum fee. Good teacher with high experience are appointed in the college. BCom program section have the number of students.
Placement Experience:
There is so least chance to God placement and job opportunities in the campus but if you are good in your studies and maintain around 8.5 + CGPA so I think you will got the placement and job opportunities in the main campus.
Any college not decided your future. You decide it
What I Liked
In my college i like my faculty teacher because it's help me in my academic.
In this college infrastructure structure is not good but your faculty is good and also your senior is also good
What I didn’t like
I am dislike your college infrastructure
And some time I also dislike your college because my college don't provide placement
Course Curriculum Overview:
After the complete my 10th standard. I choose commerce background because I'm interested in finance and corporate and after the 12th in undergraduate level no one is best degree other than b.com hons .
And this college provide good faculty for commerce and all professor of commerce faculty is very educated and also experience. Which can help in academic
Placement Experience:
This is very bad for those students who want to study in this college. This college is not provided placement or any intership.
But your college is work for this issue
And I think after few years your college is also provided placement or intership opportunity
I think the infrastructure is amazing and the fact that this college has 2 campuses in amazing
The faculty is really amazing and is said to be the best among DU colleges all around delhi
What I didn’t like
It's way to far from the city and is very secluded from the real place and it is very hard to get there on time
The student here are more infested in there political career and are very competitive in that aspect only which also diverts the mind of the teachers as well
Course Curriculum Overview:
The time table is always well planned
The teachers are amazing and very caring and will help, you get through the course very easily. Most of them are phd level teachers and are very knowledgeable and can help you develop into better students and masters at your own subject
Placement Experience:
College would provide placement into alot of firms though I went for my postgraduate from JNU and the criteria are same as for other courses like 70 per cent attendance certain cgpa and the will to be the part of the college placement.
Not maintained roads, traveling from old to new building.
Washroom conditions are bad, no sanitiziation provided.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because I m interested in it, our faculty is very qualified and have great teaching skills and very understsndavle towards student, they also provide questions paper and notes during exam for better knowlwgde
Placement Experience:
We have job opportunity if we have 8 or 9 cgpa, otherwise mostly student dont want olacement from this college because we don't have great companies to choose, I guess in 2017 last package were 300000 we're the highest after that I don't know.
My College has a big ground and a garden also with many flowers and a fountain.
What I didn’t like
I dislike the college canteen and the forest area
I dislike nothing in the college infrastructure other than the canteen and the forest area
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course and college both we got with our cuet exam .
Teachers are taking smart classes also with the help of the projector.
Semester exams are held after 6 months after completion of course . And the paper was easy not that difficult.
Remarks:
We got admission through cuet exam . Overall the college was good ???? seniors are very cooperative teachers are also very very supportive. Swami shradhanand college is in delhi university, so its very good . Only the bad aspect was the surrounding area ... means there was no metro connection in that area , for metro firstly we have to travel with bus or auto .... otherwise the college and the environment was very very good
The faculty of this college is among one of the best in the university having some of the best professors of DU.
The college campus is very much student and sports friendly specially for students interested in Cricket.
What I didn’t like
The location where the college is situated is not a very safe and good location. If it has been in a good location, every student would have very much liked it.
The infrastructure of the college is not up to date and lacks some basic amenities.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is according to the curriculum set up the Delhi University and it is followed as the same in each and every college coming under the university and our college follows the same curriculum too. The faculty is very well qualified and experienced with some of the teachers being over qualified and very excellent in their job. Teaching methods used in the college are very up to date and excellent. The exams are taken very timely which is set as per the university and the difficult of the paper is pretty good.
Placement Experience:
There is no official placement or internships provided by the college but there are certain societies inside the college which provides internships to college students every year. My plan after getting my undergraduate degree is to pursue MBA and then probably start a business of my own.
College Life at Swami Shraddhanand College, University of Delhi
What I Liked
The college is located in a rural north campus area of Delhi. The college has WiFi and well equipped computer labs and the new building comprises of big classrooms with comfortable seats and a projector provided in each classroom. The library is also well stocked with various books and journals.
What I didn’t like
The college has a good building but lags behind in the basic facilities of a good classroom.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because of my interest in the field of History. I’d wanted a course that would give me a broad arena in choosing an appropriate career. And the college has provided me with that. The faculty is well qualified and excel in their field of knowledge. They’ve a friendly nature too and are easily approachable in times of difficulty for students. The semester exams are held fairly and assignments are assigned with the concern of students.
Placement Experience:
The college does not have a good placement record. While the new students are highly active towards the placement cell and society in the college has been formed for the same that provides good internship opportunities and organises interactive seminars with successful entrepreneurs. 50% of students get placed in reputed companies.
I like the library of my college the most. It has a wide variety of books and the environment we need to study.
I also like the ground of this college. It has so much greenery and peace.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Teachers are really helping and good. It's just if you attend your classes regularly you'll get to know that the faculty members are really supportive and helping in every aspect. They are friendly also.
Placement Experience:
The college offers placements and job opportunities to those who score good in their academics while graduation. If you attend regularly.. you'll get to know about some placements and opportunities. But as far as I know it doesn't provide as much as we expect
