- The availablity of equipments are amazing and also with the contacts of your faculty you can get into the events of your respective field. As I'm doing journalim so I have attended many events of ibc24, ajtak, news18 and many more.
- As the strength of the students is very less you get a personalized attention of the teachers and can explore opportunities better.
Dislikes
- Campus is very small and doesn't have any hangout places and also we don't have any fancy big events.
- The administration department of the college is really lazy and they even miss place few of your files sometimes.
Remarks :
There weren't any actually any tests in reality but they claim that they take tests and interviews. They might have a simple conversation but mostly you don't have to prepare anything to get an admission. Just need to be 12th pass and there is no minimum percentage requirement for that either.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are no doubt qualified in terms of education and experience but not particularly good in teaching a few courses. And as number of students are really less so you can have a more personalized experience in learning that's a slight advantage here. As per our end semester exams they were timely conducted and we're fairly easy no matter what you do you are not going to fail here unless you pay the fees everything is sorted.
Placement Experience :
There is no extra academic criteria for sitting in the placement round and again the university claims to have a 100% placement ratio. But it's not the reality again but no need to be afraid ones you started studying here and engaging in activities you'll make enough contacts to get yourself a job and that's what most people do here and they secure a decent job average around 15-25k per month.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester fees is 48,000 currently but it is increasing as few of my lateral admission batchmates are paying 53,000 and also my juniors are paying 53,000 per semester. Also the bus fees is 17,400 for people residing in raipur and 21,000 for people residing in Bhilai. Our 1 semester generally lasts for 6 months.
Campus Life :
Yes there are 5 clubs here in our college but no sports aur fancy events this year only "2025" they are planning to have a sports fest of 3 days. But as the students are very less in the whole university around 350 to 500 all the events are mostly dull and the infrastructure is also very small. Yes but all the equipment for all the respective departments are present over here.
Hostel Facilities :
8000 per month is the hostel fee structure as of 28jan 2025. Food is included in that one. But as the hostel is separated from the city it's not a good experience living there and mostly as the people in the nearby village are addicted to drugs so it's not a good environment living there.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
