Remarks :
School of open learning offers flexibility in education allowing students to pursue other career opportunities while studying . This is beneficial for someone like me who is gaining hands on experience in the fashion more than academics
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of SOL is designed to cover a wide range of subjects and is largely aligned with the traditional Delhi University syllabus.It focusses on both theoretical foundations and practical applications in subjects like BA BCOM MA MCOM and others.
Internships Opportunities :
Since DU SOL doesnt provide campus placements or structured internship programs students usually have to find internships independently.I didnt opt for any internship in College .But the opportunities are limited.
Placement Experience :
At the school of open learning the campus placement is arent typically offered. Since Sol is more focused on giving distant learning . It doesnt have the same infrastructure and placements like traditional DU universities have.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The school of open learning offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs with distinct fee structures .Bachelor of arts and Bachelor of commerce tuition fee range from 1,500 to 6000 depending on the course and category.MA and MCom tuition fees are around inr 2000 per year.
Campus Life :
Life at sol at delhi university is quite difference from traditional Delhi university campus experience. Since it is an open learning it is more focused on flexibility in learning and self study which makes social scene less vibrant.
Hostel Facilities :
if i were to imagine what someone campus life would who would have the same interest like mine it would likely involve lot of inspiration and excitement . Given that im in Fashion and Design i would love to be immersed in creative environment which is best in their.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
