Likes
- I loved the classrooms and pathways as they were so organised and asthetically pleasing.
- I loved all the playgrounds as I'm a sports liver myself and they had such great grounds and courts for multiple sports.
Dislikes
- What i dislike is it's in a village like area so the nearest market is about 6-7 kms.
- I had to wake up early to take classes as the water would only come till 8 am in the hostel.
Remarks :
I got admission through a source of mine. I knew someone who had reference in the college so i got admitted through that. It is also possible to get admitted in this college by taking exams but I don't know much about that procedure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i had completed my diploma in the same field. Qualification of the faculty is actually very high as you'd expect from a college. Difficulty level if we rate at a scale of 1-10 i would say 7.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't go for any internship and that was a very bad decision on my side as the college allows you to expose yourself to many opportunities with very great comaonies for opportunities. You could also work on your skills there.
Placement Experience :
Regarding placement the college also gives placement opportunities with companies like infosys, vardhman, wipro etc and they offer very good packages depending on your performance. Biggest package i saw during my time was aroung 16 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees is around 110k which i think is quite alright for an engineering college and the curriculum and teaching staff is very good so the overall experience is very great and you get to kearn a lot from your teachers.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is very good. They conduct a fest named Tarannum around october in which you can showcase your talents in various fields. I myself played flute as a guest appearence and it was so much fun. I got such a great response from the crowd that it made me very happy.
Hostel Facilities :
Yeah i used to live in a hostel. It had a mess where the food was good and you could also order anything from their list of extra items that you want to eat and they will prepare it for you. Very friendly hostel staff as well.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
