Remarks :
For getting this college you must had to Qualify JEE (Main) Examination conducted by NTA every year . The Cuttoff for this College in last year is 96 Percentile for getting Metallurgical and Material Science Engineering . If you want Computer science you must had to score minimum 98.7 to 99.7 percentile . There is no another alternatives were available for getting admission to this college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Curriculum is too difficult in the First year as well , you must had to cover all the topics carefully for expecting a good CGPA in the semester examinations . There is Two examination conducted per semester , namely Mid Semester and End Semester Examination . The Teachers were too shy to give a single marks among the student so you had to do hard work after getting admission to this college
Internships Opportunities :
There were many opportunity for the interships . Big companies like TATA Steel , Jaguar , Atlansian , microsoft , L&T constructions ,etc hire students from NIT JAMSHEDPUR for internship programmes . The college administration will also help you in these opportunities .
Placement Experience :
The placement were too good in this college ,aprrox 97 % students were placed in the previous year and the max ctc was 1.2 cr on computer science engineering . The Avg CTC among all branches varies from 7 LPA to 12 LPA .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Tuition Fee Per Semester for This College is ?62500 , and other than tuition fee we had to pay Hostel Fee (approx 18000 per semester), Mess Fee (Approx 15000 per semester) and other misllaneous fees. Some scholarships which includes For SC/ST : Full Tuition Fee wavier other than scholar ships. 1. Ekalyan scholar ships (by Jharkhand Govt. To students of Jharkhand only) 2. NSP to all students . For Gen (EWS) , OBC (whose income is less than 1 Lakh ) --> Full wavier on Tuition fee . For Gen/OBC (Whose income is less than 5 lakhs ) --> 33% of fee will be waived . (very few , almost no , scholarships are availabe for General Category students)
Campus Life :
There is a lack of Infrastructure development in this college , only one LHC cover its all beauty of this college . Some fests like URJA-Sports Fests , OJASS , Culfest and some Branch fest like Cognitio , Pravadhan, Nexus, Prodyog , etc were organized every year by the respective Branch societies . There were many clubs in this college in which you can go like Team Revanta, Innoreva, LDS, Beat Breakers, Rooh etc these are most interesting part of this college .

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements

Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
