Preparing for Neet UG , I thought years would be spent solely without any productivity so it's better to be enrolled in a distance course and continuing my preparation. The registration process is held online and an email comes after acceptance of admission.
I chose the course because it's an emerging field in upcoming future and hence of more use in medical field. Our faculty has good professors in each chemistry and biology. Each are Dr. Who have done PHd in their respective fields of interests. They prefer the method of interacting with students while teaching. They ask questions after every topic they explain and let students explain on the board what they have understood to get 100% clarity in their studied topics. Term exams are held in June and December but are course requires yearly exams and hence it occurs every year in June for 3 years.
No have not applied for any internship yet but willing to do in future as many job opportunities and options become open after applying for internship and I want to be an intern in my field of interest
I have created an id on LinkedIn in case any job approaches ,hence are welcome after the completion of my course since I want to support my family financially too. I am planning to apply for jobs in this field .
The total fees of my course BSc Biochemistry honours is 48000 and yearly fees is 16000 which has to be paid on registration and reregistration and second re registration and admission and registration process is held online
Life at campus is pretty good .Not really have the idea of fests but the campus is really very nice and big. Corridors and classrooms are spacious. Books are available online and are included in the fees we pay. Library is big and peaceful. Our campus has a ground where volley ball is played the most. Our campus has an auditorium where every function is held whether a seminar or an annual function.
No as I haven't opted for any hostel as such as of now but I will look upto it in my master's and ignou is a distance learning programme where hostels aren't necessary and no one opts hostel for distance programs
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
