As I have just completed my first semester at NIT Jamshedpur, I have not done any internships yet. However, I am actively preparing and looking for opportunities to secure one in the coming semesters. The Nit Jamshedpur is one of the best placement giving college in the country with its average placement in all branch above 90 percent placement in all branches and the placement scenario is good with overall most students getting placed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In my college the reserved candidates i.e sc and st students gets full fee waiver from tution fees while the other students whose family income is less than 1 lack per annum gets full tution fees waiver and as for those who have their family income lie between 1 lakh and 5 lakh gets 2/3rd tution fees waiver and along with that our college also support bihar credit card policy and e kalyan of jharkhand

Campus Life :

The life at NIT Jamshedpur is really good with lots of club, societies and really great infrastructure many of the new buildings are still in construction but overall it's very good the fest at our college occurs frequently with 3 being the main fest along with the branch fests

Hostel Facilities :

We have been provided a hostel which is somewhat old to be honest and yes the condition is not very good but it's not also very bad to live in the mess quality is very bad to be honest but somedays they provide good food and we got our hostel in the registration process of our college

The Real BIT Sindri Experience

Placement Experience :

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

My Dream College

Placement Experience :

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum. It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

Life in g.p latehar

Placement Experience :

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

The life of DeC dumka

Placement Experience :

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
