1) location of college and cultural advances lead me to chose vit pune over other colleges in Maharashtra. 2) VIT was arguably 3rd best college for chemical engineering in Maharashtra in the times which lead me to chose it over other colleges. 3) patterns of exam in vit , make students proficient for interview culture and group discussion activities
Course have all the concepts and chapters included. But those are not comprehensive compared to other colleges of chemical engineering in Maharashtra. Most of the concept taught are being niche and it's bit concerning but chemically department in vit is going to be closed soon and it proves discontinuity in culture. Faculty:- There are numerous faculty members with their respective skills and expertise in VIT. F for chemical engineering department students to teachers ratio is nearly 20:1 , which make teachers and students close and co-ordinative. College have guardian faculty for every student and it make you to concentrate on students aim and growth . Education of teachers:- all teachers are masters and phd holder.
Internships Opportunities :- Various companies come to college for campus placement but the ratio of companies come to it department and core departments is the only thing to be worried of. Companies come to VIT for internship are numerous and it's good for knowledge. I've done internship in web development domain and it lead me to enhance skills.
From the 3rd year of college (that is 5th and 6th semester) companies come to College and students are eligible for campus placements. For chemical engineering department highest placement offered was 8lpa by emerson. While others companies haven't come due to recession. Fir Computer science department highest package offered was 35 lpa , while averaging to 13 lpa. When I admitted in 2020 , its fee for general category 184000 per year, While it was 106084 for obc category, moreover there's more relaxation in fees for categories like sc,st ,nt and pwd section. Now in 2025 fees has been increased to 192000 per year. Fees for obc :- 106084 per year Fees for ews :- 106084 per year Fees for sc/st :- nearly 5500 Fees for nt :- between 27000 to 28000
There are 2 major cultural events like vishwakarandak and vishwotsav where vishwakarandak is being annual sports and cultural events where sports, dance, singing, poetry and various others competition take place While vishwotsav is cultural attires fest. There are various clubs and communities in Vit,Pune. And that's biggest strength of VIT. In library all the books of academis are available. Class rooms are fully functional and there are various laboratories available for every department. Department like SwD focus on social activities. Nearly all clubs run by students itself. Vishwakarndak held in February while vishwotsav in April. 1 Night life in college isn't that experiencing and enchanting. Night life is only available for college clubs and event preparation and for Events still 10 pm. On regular days college is open till 8 pm so there's no proper nightlife in college

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
