It is purely a merit based selection to enter in this university by odisha government ..it's a very demanding and recognised university in odisha,it is the only women's University in odisha ..you have to score atleast 90% in your 12 th board to secure a seat in this university,modern infrastructure and modern curriculum and modern facilities are provided here... This is one of the top most university and you are suggested to do by the educationist..the honnerable president of India srimati Draupadi Murmu is also a aluminai of this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Physics is royal subject,there is a various opportunity in the world of physics..there is many applications in the field of science and here they provided extraordinary oppertunity and modern based environment to persue the course and provided with a very good campus life to improve your knowledge And the school of physics cum the department is quite benifited and arround 7-8 faculties with hod are highly qualified from recognised institution with high package and knowledgious . Teaching methods of the faculties are so good and teachers are extra caring and serious about teaching style helping students to hear a good and high class mark.
Internships Opportunities :
College provided internship with different programs.you can make internship with companies like Deloitte and wipro.and you apply for marketing jobs in different types of institutions.with a stipend if 10000-15000 per month.
Placement Experience :
Various companies and industries make there partnership and sponsorship with college programs and college functions..and companies like vedanta,Wipro, Infosys and Deloitte make their collaboration and participate in campus drive with package 12 lakhs per annum and gives career counseling oppertunity In every year .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You have to pay 4000 at the time of admission and readmission is approximately 3500 for 2nd year and final year..and there is no extra fees for college maintenance and this is a purely government autonomous college and any one can apply for the merits scholarship and many various scholarships... There is different types of money ammount for different types of casts .. and you can apply forany Goverment schemes.. student can apply post metric scholarship of amount approximately 20000 and INSPIRE scholarship and state government based scholarship like nua o scholarship and many more.
Campus Life :
Modern infrastructure building,,and 1000 seated auditorium and total greenery and campus covered with flowers trees n all. And total free wifi campus with ATMs gyms and a modern canteen inside it. And it is situated in the janpath lane of bhubaneswar municipality corporation. Cultural club and nss ncc clubs are there and a modern library which provided e learning facilities and exoclubs music band club dance clubs performance .. spring fest is the annual fest celebrated each ear in the open air and celebrities celebrate for 5 days and various fest are held in every month of the year.
Hostel Facilities :
Modern hostel with modern rooms and are 7-8 hostel for different courses and high quality food with own hostel mess and water system is so comfortable.and provided refrigerator, induction, washing machine television or entertainment and sports activities and gymnastics facilities.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
