Remarks :
I choose this college because the Gargaon College is a very well known college in sivsagar and the education system is very excellent and also the college is very near to my home and that's why i choose to join in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college is not a college. Every senior and junior are like brother sister and also our teachers are very kind and our environment is very well maintained, calm, delighted and charming. The education system is very well maintained, like time to time classes, assignment, project, lectures etc.
Internships Opportunities :
No internship opportunity in this college.College held some career counseling program and some one day training program.College not give opportunity to students in internship. College only focus study and good marks.
Placement Experience :
No placement or no job after this course.College no offer good placement.After complete this course some students prepare for other job exam and some prepare for higher studies.Student struggle for jobs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees is 5000 in one year . It includes registration fees ,addmission fees, development fees, lab fees and other compulsory charge like playground maintenance, gardening etc . The fees structure is same for all students (art, science, commerce) but who have belong BPL they should paying less or free addmission.
Campus Life :
In this college the education system is not only excellent, the other side of this college are very well good, like freshers party, sports game, college week, campaigning, college program etc are very well good
Hostel Facilities :
College campus we called brindabon. This spots are most favourite. College have a gym.have canteen.in off time we are going canteen for launch. College have a boys hostel and a girl's hostel.These hostel are not close .

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
