A good college in Uttarakhand
Likes
- The most I like about this college is the canteen. It is quite large and has good infrastructure which is fully equipped with ACs.
- The second thing I like about this college is that during our university exams, we do not have to go to other college. This college itself is centre for exams.
Dislikes
- The one thing I dislike about this college is the college building. They are old and have old designs .
- The second thing I dislike about this college is lack of cultural events.
Remarks :
The main factor for which I chose this college was the course affordability and low fee structure. This college is very good compared to the fees and has a good infrastructure. Admission process is simple you can directly apply for the admission or you can sit in counselling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum can be quite hectic. We have classes from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Saturdays. All the faculty members are almost PhD qualified. There are two mid term exams conducted in a semester. And the difficulty level is somewhat similar to the external exam.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for most of the placements is 60% above . Some of the companies also neglect this criteria. The companies which come for campus placements here are cognizant, chetu, finastara, Sopra Steria, Josh Technologies etc. Highest package offered ever from this college is 56 lakh. And almost 70-80% students gets placed every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise tution fee I paid was Rs. 102000/year or 51,000/semester. In first year of my college I paid 1,16,000. This fee includes all the charges like library, uniform fee etc. Scholarship is given on the basis of qualifying exam like on the basis of 12th marks and jee score. Like I got the scholarship of 40000 based on my 12th marks (91.8%) and Uttarakhand domicile. Currently at present, the fee structure for CSE ++ program is around 1,73,000/year and for basis CSE course it is 1,33,000/year. CSE++ includes special training programs.
Campus Life :
The campus life here is average. There are four clubs in our college which are Udaan(Cultural club), Utthan(Technical Club), Urja(Sports Club), and Uttprerna(Social Club). Library is large and well equipped with books and journals. Anugoonj is annual cultural fest and Technomax is annual technical fest and Sportech is annual sports fest conducted during a year.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
