It is a value for money college so if your budget is low then this good college. Now it has NACC a++ rating. No interview or nothing was taken. I was given admission based on my 12 th marks and jee mains.
Course curriculum is outdated. It doesn't help students to get placement. Faculty is very good and experienced. Many of them have PHD. In one year 4 exams are taken , 2 internal and 2 external . Internal is of 60 marks and external is of 100 marks . Exams are very difficult. The teachers are very strict and cameras are also installed in examination hall.
College gives no internship opportunities. Students have to take internship by own. But college has tie up with institutions like explorin that helps students to get internship. Many events like Technax, Hackathon are organised.
Placement opportunities are good overall. This year 90% students are placed in company. Highest package offered was 26 lpa And lowest is 2 lpa. College organises many training programs with company like Tata, lnt, etc.
Tution fees - 121000 Exam fees - 12400 ERP fees - 2000 Same for everyone. But if your 12 th percentage is more than 90% then 30000 less. And scholarship based on jee mains also. Late fees is also taken if you not pay fees in time . 5000 for academic and 2500 for hostel.
Name of yearly feat is Anugoonj and it happens once in a year. In March-April. Library is very big and good. Many books are available. Xerox and print out facilities are also there. Extra curricular activities is not good only focus on cricket. There are 4 clubs in college. Udaan, uthaan, utprenna and sports club.
Hostel is not good there are many restrictions in hostel . It is not allowed to go outside college after 7PM and outside campus after 9 PM. Hostel is affordable but mess food is very bad. Cleanliness is very good in hostel and mess. No electronic device is allowed in hostel.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
