I gave JEE paper 2A i.e B.arch I scored around 92 percentile and my crl was around 6000. I participated in Josaa counselling and got alloted seat in 3rd round of counselling. But the last admission was at rank 6325 in Csab counselling. So if you are a homestate candidate and your rank is around 6000-7000 there is a good chance of you getting into B.Arch at nit Hamirpur, but if you are from different state then the closing rank is around 1500
The reason why I choose this course is because it has a lot of potential that needs to be unleashed. There are people who think not so well of this course but they don't know the potential it holds. You can literally create something out of your imagination which meets the utility. Talking about the faculty; it is good. There are lot of experienced teachers who hold a lot of teaching experience and also have done their phds' from IITs'. In studio subjects( design, buildings construction and materials, graphics) you get assigned with more than 1 teacher so that you can get reviews from more than 1 mind at a time. This open your brain to think in many ways. Teaching methods are quite nice. Talking about the exams; they are of normal difficulty and what is taught comes in the exam
No I haven't been to any intership yet. I am just a first year student. I haven't been to any intership. But students are allowed to do interships according to their desire. They don't force it upon you
The placements of this this college are very nice. There is 3-4 students every batch who get more than 50L+ pacakage . The placement rate is very nice of every branch. In B.arch the placement rate was 100% last year.
I am currently in B arch at NIT Hamirpur I am a 1st year student So from starting: Admission fee and tution fee for 1st semester was around 110000 excluding hostel fee which was 40000 In 2nd semester the tution fee was 83100 And the hostell fee was 30000...the tution fee varies with category but the hostel fee is fixed( I am general)
NIT Hamirpur is one of the most beautiful college campus in whole of the country. There is a lot of greenery around the campus. very soothing environment here. The life at campus is very fun. You get to decide what you do with your time. There are lot of things to do in the campus( dance, music, sports and many more). Nit Hamirpur has 2 fests. One is cultural fest named as 'Hillfair' and other is a technical fest named as 'Nimbus'. In both fests there are different clubs who present themselves in different ways. Talking about the books and journals, you get everything in the library. Each type of books are assigned a specific place. In sports you have many sports( all outdoor and indoor sports). We have a separate building know as SAC(student activity centre). Here there are various activities happening like sports, dance, music, art and all other creative stuff. You have different clubs and societies eg. ISTE; this is a technical society which has various domains which students chose
The hostel rooms for boys are quite nice but for girls the hostel is bit of not so nice. There are 4-5 or even 7 girls living in 1 big room. But in boys hostel there are only 3-4 boys in 1 room. The mess food is quite good. You don't really get the same stereotype of hostel food in here. The foos ig quite good. The hostel is quite offordable.

The university provides good placement and internship opportunities. The training, guidance, and support are helpful, and the process is well-organized. Overall, the experience is positive, and students get valuable exposure for their careers.
Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.
I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult
placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
THEIR ARE LACK OF PLACEMENT AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN THIS COLLEGE.VERY FEW COMPANIES THAT ARE COMING IN COLLEGE.BEFOR COURSE YOU ARE PLAN WHAT TO DO AFTER BTECH .THESE ARE VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE THEIR ARE VERY FEW CHANCE FOR PLACEMENT.BE INSURE YOU HAVE ALREADY PLANNED BEFORE BTECH .
The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
This is the only university that provides you 100% placement the internship are also great A whole lot of companies came here and provide you suitable packages according to your skills .the internship starts from the third year and it provides you the time to grind your skills
I got this based my JEE advanced rank. The faculty student ratio, typically between 15:1 and 20:1, allows for personalized attention and interaction. Faculty are well qualified for the job and their teaching methods are very good. The exams have a typical timeline and they are quite challenging to pass.
There are 36 companies that come to this college every year are maximum student get placements every year. Maximum placment probability is from computer science engineering . Highest package from this college is 1.7 cr
Our college placements are growing new companies are approaching to our campus for recruitment and internships. Google , Microsoft, Goldman Sachs,TCS and many more big companies visited our campus. so placement scenario is good than overhyped private colleges.
