Remarks :
No there was no interviews or written test for admission for KCET students but for management students there is an written test for addmission, my cut-off in KCET was around 80,000 and I got seat here in 3rd round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My opinion is, we can choose any faculty for perticular subject, there will be an option, between two faculty we choose one for particular subject. But some faculties are strict , if we came 1 min late , they won't allow us in.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I opted for an internship through college, securing a role in embedded systems at Qualcomm with a ?40,000/month stipend. Other firms like TCS, Infosys, and Siemens offer roles in AI, VLSI, and software development. My project involved IoT-based smart automation, where I worked on sensor integration and real-time data analysis. Tasks included coding, hardware testing, and optimizing performance. These internships provide hands-on experience, boosting career prospects!
Placement Experience :
Placements are strong, with recruiters like TCS, L&T, Infosys, Qualcomm, and Siemens offering roles in AI, VLSI, embedded systems, and software. Eligibility: 60%+ in academics, no backlogs. Highest Package: ?8 LPA (Qualcomm, AI/ML role) Average Package: ?3-4 LPA (software, hardware roles) Placement Rate: 65%+ students placed I plan to gain industry experience in embedded systems, then pursue an M.Tech or MBA for career growth.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In 1st year I paid around 1,45,000 but in second year it about 1.5 lakh, the KCET fees is around 98,000 and rest is college fees and I am staying in near by PG, it cost around 1,00,000 per annum. No scholarship for general
Campus Life :
In our campus there will be atleast one event per month, per fest there will be some events and stalls , the biggest fest is PRERENA which is held in between dec -Jan , and there are many clubs for dance , singing, fashion and many 20 more clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel has spacious rooms, Wi-Fi, study areas, and a common hall. The mess serves veg & non-veg meals, with a rotational menu; food quality is decent but could improve. Hostel Application: Apply via college portal, selection based on availability. Fees are affordable (~1.5L/year). If renting, PGs near gitam, offer single/shared rooms (?7K-?15K/month) with meals & laundry. Locality is safe, with easy transport & eateries nearby.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
