- The only thing I like about the infrastructure is that it's really open and it has several grounds for different sports activities.
Dislikes
- It's not upto the mark and still relies on old sort of stuff to make things work, like old computers i3 3rd Gen etc
Remarks :
I chose this college because my parents had to take a transfer to roorkee so I also had to choose a college since close to home. I had one interview with the faculty after submitting my documents, I opted for visiting and giving it over there. After that they discussed fees and other facilities the college provides. As per the good aspects, the college doesn't causes any issues in internal marks even if you are not coming to the college, i.e. just sends average marks which are beneficial for me since I'm mostly out of city. But it's bad as well since people have to work hard to score more than others. Good aspects... Well... Yeah it's Roorkee! You can go to haridwar, rishikesh with your friends if want to hang out on 2 wheelers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
College faculty is not up to the mark, most of them join for the sake of phd and get their stuff done from students by lying to them for research work etc. I have noticed that some of the teachers are assigned different subjects in each sem for us(ik some teachers can know much more, but they can never know subjects which are polar opposite like microprocessor and data structures As per the internal exams, I don't think it's that difficult at all. If you attend college lectures diligently, you can ace the internals But yeah you have to be actively involved with teacher, so that they can remember you and award more marks to you in favour of studious nature. Exams are kept every 2.5 months apart and in those 2 exams, only the chapters that are taught are asked rather than asking everything.
Placement Experience :
There are only sales company visiting our campus and only a few company like sophra, cognizant etc So the ratio is 15:85 for the company visit, where 15 is the tech related ones and 85 is sales company offering around 3.5 lakhs only
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay Rs 51,000 every semester for 4 years. This amounts to 4Lakh 8 thousand for 4 years in total. But now the fees has been increased. It's now Rs 59,950 This amounts to Rs 4 Lakh 79 thousand and 600 only.
Campus Life :
The only happening thing about the college is the Freshers fest and the technical fest which happens every year called Anoogoonj. In short they all want money just for you to be in the fest. Library bit is controversial. They have timely strictness for returning the books. But for the books availability, they just have those old books since 1st year of my college and can't get me new books no matter how much I ask them. There are some few events that take place but in the end they all are just for the sake of making money, politics etc. Hence I didn't got that much involved in it.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
