Likes
- Faculty is too good and they are highly experienced and for next year this collage turns to 100 years old.and I am so glad that I am part of these moment.
- At the time of fest we can enjoy with friends in edm nights which is a life long memory for us .
Dislikes
- Near dhanbad there are so many coal mines.so especially in summer season we feel too hot.so it is better if we have AC in our classrooms.
- I think it is better if they provide washing machines because the dhobi cost is little bit high.
Remarks :
I choose this collage because of its great education and I can learn more from these highly qualified professors and moreover the hostel provides good living environment. And I prefer this collage because it is IIT and we can get good recognition in society.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty consists of highly qualified professors and we get the chances to work with professors like we get the opportunity to do research with the then. And moreover in every semester we can give feedback to our professors.so that they improve there self in a better way.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I am studying 2 nd year.so the internship opportunities will start in the 5 th semester.we can get the internship opportunities in both core and non-core also. that is we can get internship in coding and other than coding we get internship related to our core in mechanical, petroleum etc.. and also we can get internship in product management.
Placement Experience :
The average package is 15 lakhs.this year the placement status is about 70 percent.and some students prefer for further studies.my plan is to get campus placement.this year the highest package is about 80 lakhs.some of the popular few visited recuriters are amazon, flipkart,google, accenture,goldman Sachs and so on.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year is divided into two semester in every semester we should pay tution fees 1 lakh and hostel and mess fees is about 36,000.for reservation students like sc and St they will pay only hostel and mess fees.If your family income is below 5 lakh you will pay about 60000 fees
Campus Life :
IIT ism is having mainly three fests concetto, srijan ,parkaram.concetto is happens in every in the month of October which is technical fest and srijan happens in the last month of January which is cultural fest and the last fest is parakram which happens in every year in march which is sports fest.we can also borrow books from library.there are so many clubs some are coding clubs and sports clubs and for extra curricular activities we have dancing club and singing clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is good but as I am South Indian it is difficult for me to adjust to North Indian food.combined hostel fee and mess fees is about 40000 per year which consists of two semester.i think there is no pg which is better than our hostel.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
