I have attempted jee advanced to get admission into IIT ISM Dhanbad.The criteria was ALL INDIA RANK of JEE Advanced.I got this college according to my rank.Of Course any student will search about the colleges while counseling process. I too searched,the main reason to prioritise this college is well established and among top 10 IITs and I am getting Electrical Engineering.
Coming to academics the curriculum as set in a way where the student get benefited and gets hands on industrial experience in their labs itself.Although every topic of the course is not covered as the semester should complete in 14weeks only keeping all aspects in mind what is required and what is not necessary the curriculum were prepared.
No.As I am second year I'm not eligible to apply internships on campus.Internships are for those who have completed 2nd year and presently in third year.Many companies come on campus and offer internships like Google, Microsoft, Facebook,Amazon etc.
On campus placement are available every year in our campus.Many companies visit our institute and offer internships and placements for the students.After the internships the some students also get pre placement offers.The highest package is around 50LPA and average is around 21LPA.Almost 80% and above students get placed.

Campus life's in all IITs will be more than what we expect.There are lot of clubs in the institute which are very intresting and useful in their career.There are technical clubs, cultural clubs,sports clubs etc.And there is lot of free time to explore.The student is free to learn anything they want all the requirements and resources will be provided in the campus itself.
There is no any additional application for the hostel,while the registration process itself hostel will be alloted.Every year hostel will be changed.In one room two students are alloted.In case of boys (final years) single student is alloted.The hostel has its own mess.Mess food is average as all the state's students leave here some may like some may not.Overall it's nutritious.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.
I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.
The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.
There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
