I didn't face any written tests or anything. I got this college through first cap round. I was fascinated by the infrastructure of this college. Also the events which are organised are so good. I am in EXTC branch, I got 81 percentile in cet and bring a obc candidate, I got this college in first cap round.
All the faculty members are very helpful and friendly. The college is autonomous so the syllabus is little different than the mumbai university colleges. Tests are taken frequently which helps in end semester exams.
College offers many courses and internship opportunities. Last sem I did internship with CDAC. This internship was offered by college. This internship was in web development. In the same college data analytics course was also offered.
Placement is quite good in this college. Also college offers internship opportunities in all the domains. Earlier in sem 4 ending I did internship with CDAC. This internship was offered by college. That time college offered internship in iitb also
For open students and those who have taken admission through institute quota. the fees is 153000 and for obc students and it is 86000. College has scholarships. Because of which I pay 86k per year. This year government has issued no fees to girl candidate. For that I have filled the scholarship form.
The college infrastructure is very good. All the committees organise interesting and fun events. There is event organised on every Friday by student council. All the branches have their own committees. Which organizes events for all the students in various domains.
Vidyalankar college doesn't have hostel facilities. However there are alot of pg available in the area. Also canteen food is tasty, affordable and healthy. There is everything in canteen. So there is no worry about food.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
