Remarks :
I chose this college because of the environment and easy transportation. The collage have a very good results every year . In the past years zoology department shows 100% pass and A+ and above grades .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The facilities are too good and the course is easy if you are interested for that particular curriculum. So chose the subject only if you have interest. Many faculties have phd dgree and most have masters and above dgrses
Internships Opportunities :
No i don't have opted any internship . Due to the lack of interest of higer authority the internship programs are less and have no awerness programs upon it . Many students still want that kind of programmers but they didn't find the opportunity
Placement Experience :
In the college there is very low internship program. There are many institutions come to college for carrier councilling and the collage have Japanese language cell and many extra curriculum which is not a part of any department
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In every semester admission is 1000 and yearly addmission is 6800 ...main addmission fee for college is approximately 7k and the other fees is as same as mentioned....hostal is available only for girls and canteen is available but the price and food quality is not good . Many cultural events are there for new comers and many games are played by students inside the collage because the collage have a basketball ground voliball ground and also a lon tennis ground . The collage have 2 fisheries and sarrounded by several trees . The area of the collage is good for students even in night time . A remarkable line is the teachers mainly in zoology and anthropology dept is very good if you are shy or felt uncomfortable as a new comer this two departments are as good as like wow .
Campus Life :
The campus is very good and due to the distance from main raod the collage have no pollution no sound of vehicles .the nebours are also support the collage events and also take part . In our college red club is present which helps people by donating food blanket etc . At last the infrastructure of the collage is too good because the members make the collage very beautiful by making Beautiful building and also preserve the old building frist main in the starting of the collage.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no boys hostel in the college so i didn't explain how i manage it or the fee of mess and other . If there is any boys hostel is present further then i recommend that the food can based on veg item and affordable price

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
