No there was no interview or GD. It was totally based on my percentage in class 12th. ( cuet score was started from next year). Now in recent years you have to first hive a CUET exam, then fill out the preference list. On basis of your score and list you will get an admission. There are 3 sections of 50- 60 students. One section is bilingual ( i.e. hindi and english)
The facility is top notch. All professors are phd holders with more than 15+ years of experience and permanent staff. Some of them also have good connections with other institutes, that will give you some exposure. Curriculum could be rigorous but overall tue exam pattern is fairly easy. You get 8 questions, and you can choose to attempt any 4. So a 50% internal choice. Plus tgese questions are vast and cover almost an entire unit so you get good material to write an answer.
I opted for internship with Speak up world foundation, it was regarding social activity. I also interned as social media manager for one instagram page. All of these were my own researched internships.
The placement cell is good. However not for this particular course. You will have to look for jobs and internships on your on. Mostly students either pursue higher education or go par exams like upsc etc after graduating.
It was approximately 9k per year ie for 2 semesters. Plus 500- 600 additional exam fee to be paid per semester. It totals down to approx 32k- 33k. Additionally 500 rs were taken for security. Although i did not get security money back
There are good enough societies and clubs. With Enactus, dramatics, theatre, music, dance etc. The working of these societies are also good, bit again it could become toxic... so its better to balance work and academics. Honestly speaking these societies gove you no value in future, so dont waste much time. Enjoy your campus life. The campus is fine, you get 2-3 gardens, good for chilling and sitting under the sun. Library is decent, don't expect much. The reading room is vast, so you can enjoy that. Classrooms DO NOT have air conditioners or projectors. The annual fest is called LEHREN conducted in month of February/ March. You can participate in sports, badminton footbal etc.
There is no hostel facility on our college. However there are many pgs available. The college is just a station away from Karol bagh, a upsc coaching hub, therefore you may face high fees, however on an average it costs around 10k for a shared room around college vicinity.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
