- The college infrastructure of the college for every department is very well, every department has their labs and all the required things they need.
- The faculty is great, maximum of the professors have done their PHDs.
Dislikes
- There is not anything that i dislike , but if the placement opportunities are increased and the network is grown further it would be nice for the students.
Remarks :
The college has a huge name and respect and is well know for the courses and opportunities provided here, with a wide range of courses available and a really impressive faculty , Fergusson college is a choice for many people around and for me who wanted to do Data Science, this was an amazing platform. With the great infrastructure, the well furnished labs and an amazing faculty I always wanted to pursue my degree from here. The admission process has one online entrance test having MCQs based on mathematics, statistics and general reasoning, after the results are out the admission process starts by claiming the seat and document submission followed by fee payment. For the preparation of the exam I used some youtube resources and some reasoning books.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have a interest in GenAI, LLMs and NLP, i always found it fascinating to work on these aspects which made me choose this course as my career option. The faculty here is full of knowledge with the professors who have done their PHDs and have published their research papers had a vast knowledge to share with us. All there research and knowledge have always guided me in my path. The semester exams are every 6 months and in between we have Internal assessments. There is no difficulty in the exams having such an amazing faculty.
Internships Opportunities :
The projects in our field is basically over GenAI, LLMs, NLP and prediction models, dealing with Machine earning, deep learning , Data analytics etc. The internships offered on the campus are usually paid internships with a decent stipend of RS. 10k-15k.
Placement Experience :
The campus offers placement and there are IT companies like Vois, Axria, Ellicium, Blue Pineapple , Flame University etc. The eligibility criteria for the placement drives are that you should not have any active backlogs. In the above 3 companies around 10-15 people were placed. The highest package is that of 10 LPA and average is of 5LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fee I paid for this course in total was 128000/- for the first year, it included some 34,000/- as tuition fees , 3500/- as student deposit and rest as other fees. The fee structure is decent and justifiable. The fee for other batches such as for MSc Computer science and MSc. Computer application are 45000/- and 85000/- respectively. The fee is pretty acceptable as compared to the other courses because Data Science deals with the recent AI and we get a lot of sessions that the college pay for. There are certain scholarships available for the students too. And for the admissions through management can be a bit expensive.
Campus Life :
To make our college life even more fun we have our college fest in the month of December , which included a lot of ceremonies and competitions. There are cultural events, sports fest, bollywood days, poster making contests, flash mobs by each department and much more. there are technical fests and we had the biggest book festival of Pune last month in our campus. We have a really big library BJ Wadia library on our campus , the library has a lot of informative an important books available , there is a study hall there in the library also we have a small library in our Computer Science department which has all the books we need for all computer science fields. Apart from this we have clubs at campus level, we have literature clubs, data science clubs etc.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
