I got admission in this college on basis of my MHTCET marks. I scored 89 percentile and got an offer letter for robotics and automation. I grabbed that offer letter and took admission. To confirm that seat I had to pay the first installment ammount which I did, after which I received their confirmation mail about me getting my seat in the desired course
I always had a attraction towards robots and mechanical stuff from very beginning but on the other hand I was also fascinated about computers and coding. Both of these fields are completely different as mechanical work needs hand on experience whereas computer work/coding can be done anywhere. This is where which course comes for the win. Robotics and automation privides a wonderful exposure to all my interest including mechanical, computer science and electrical. This course Majorly focuses on mechanical engineering studies followed by coding knowledge and electrical study. This gives an wonderful exposure to every major feild.
Our college makes it mandatory to apply for internship in the final year. That can be either in first sem of the final year or second sem of the final year. Other than that students can apply for internship before final year as they wish. College encourages for the same and helps in every way possible. Im myself planning to apply for internship in my third year (in currently in second year)
The campus placement is pretty good. We have companies like Cummins, siemens, Amazon, paytm, google hiring students. Moreover we have these companies even providing internship etc. Students from my course get an avg package of 6-8 L. The highest package goes to a student of mtech by google who was offered 84L or even more.
The fees for my course is 3.15L per annum. For other courses like CSE it's 3.50L Per annum. The fees include academic studies and extracurricular activities. Irrespective of your caste you have to pay the full amount. Reservations are provided but it's a lengthy procedure. Fees for back examination and rechecking are different and are supposed to be paid (if needed) once we are allowed. To pay for a back exam it's 300? and for rechecking it's 500?. For the fee installment. It's done in two installments. For my course it's 1.45 L in first installment and rest in the second installment which usually happens in the next semester.
The campus is huge it's enormous. Vivid people awesome environment it's beautiful. Campus life is happening, we have many events going every now and then. People like aman gupta, CM Fadavnis, pranit more karan kanchan etc have visited and performed in these events. Events like RIDE, BCS, AAROHAN SLDP ETC
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
