- I like the flexibility in the courses , if I am doing a 3 year course I can complete it in 5 years.
- They also have good amount of courses, students can do whatever they want and they have many specialization courses too.
Dislikes
- I don't like information given by them, they don't do any mail or message about the exams or assignment.
- Some student also faces issue about the books, they don't get them on time.
Remarks :
It is an open university, so I choose this this university because I am preparing for government competitive examinations. Student those who want to prepare for other courses or examination they should definitely check out this university.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am pursuing BA degree I choose this because I am from arts background and I am also preparing for other competitive examinations so it is easy to pass the exams. Exams are not that tough, if you have studied for less time also you can easily pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship from the university website, because it of no use for me. But they have some internships in their website students who are interested can apply from their and can do their internship.
Placement Experience :
There is no such things like placement here , people only do the degree from here just to have degree and to have some knowledge about the subject, but medals are given to the students who have topped their course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees here is 4800 per year, but if varies around different courses. The extra fee is exam fees which is 300 per subject , 500 if you have any practical based subject. Students can easily afford the fees here in this university.
Campus Life :
So again because it is an open university so there is no campus for the students, you can take online classes if it is available in your course. The study material/ books we got from the post, they have their separate app for the study material also.
Hostel Facilities :
It is open university so their is no hostel or hostel life, we live at our homes and just go to the nearest examination centers to give our final examinations, and also for the assignment submission.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
