Review of Nerim Group of Institutions
Remarks :
I choose The Nerim Group Of Institutions because the course is not available in all the colleges and it is very expensive to move another state to join the course. The most important reason to join the course because I heard about the department of Business Administration which has very well qualified teachers and they are friendly to the students. The college provides ACs in the summer in every class which is suitable for students to sit peacefully in the summer season. The fees structure college is very expensive, every student can’t afford it and also the canteen food is not as good as other colleges. The admission process is very simple, everyone can easily join the institution with a minimum 55 percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this college i.e the Bachelor of Business Administration as the course is not available in all the colleges and it is very very expensive to move another state to study the course. The institution not only offers the BBA Degree but also awards a Diploma in Computer Application(DCA) upon completion of the course. The teachers are well qualified ensuring a strong faculty members. The course prepares well for studies as the academic results is always good which will make the graduates well prepared for the jobs. The Head of the Department(hod) is Dr.Karabi Goswami. The teaching method are designed to be interactive, fostering a conducive learning environment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Bachelor of Business Administration :-60000 per year including exam fees and registration fee. B.Com :- 25000-30000 per semester( in every six month). Bsw :- per semester 50000. Bca :- 30000 per semester.
Campus Life :
The fests hosted by the college every year which is starting from the month of February i.e Saraswati Puja after that the Foundation Day is celebrated which is in 16th February that is celebrated every year in which the cultural program is organised by the college. The NEERAM is celebrated in the month of May which features various competitions and games, social and cultural growth among the students. The most waited programs for the students i.e Orientation and Freshers (for 2 days) which is welcome program for the juniors. The college library provides minimum 30000 books covering the subjects like Management, Computer Science, Administration etc. It subscribes over 30000 online journals thorough portal.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel fees per month is 7000 which includes double bed room, and for the single room the monthly fees is minimum 10000 excluding electricity bills, the hostel provides meals both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. According to my friends those are living in the hostel the food quality is very good. The admission process is very easy, those are interested to join the hostel, they are asked to apply at the time of admission.The fee structure for i.e admission fee:-5000(one time payment), security deposit:-5000(which is refundable). The nearby apartment is very expensive for the students, it ranges from 8000-12000 and the PG costs nearly 8000 per month nearby the college.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
