this was my second option after scms and thus i did not get selected in it therefore i chose this college. students need to pass SET exam with50% of marks and then they proceed to personal interviews and then the students are shortlisted.
I chose this course because of bba and with a specialisation of IT in it so to explore the IT sector by studying management . Teaching method is good and the faculty members are well educated and experienced which helps students to apply the same experience in their own life. terms end exams are after 6 months and in between we have internals like mid term presentation viva and projects.
currently i am in the 1st year and thus ihave no idea about internships or placements. we have been informed that we will be getting internship opportunity in 2nd year and in 3rd year it will be compulsory as it will be containing merits based on the internships
no idea about the placements because currently i am in the 1st year. but with some knowledge i can say that a students needs to be constantly scoring 8+GPA in every semester and then he or she has to give interview.
the yearly fees is 220000 students have the option to enroll themselves for 3 years or 4 years for 3 years - 660000 4 years - 880000 detailed breakdown of fees tuition fees- 180000 admission fee- 10000 registration fees- 5000 caution fees - 10000 development fees- 7500 lab fees- 7500 compulsory charges - 10000 total fees - 220000
first of all SICSR does not have any campus or campus life as it just contain one single apartment with classes, a cafeteria, library and washrooms. in library we have multiple number of books by different publishers as well as magazines journals and informative papers. they have projector in each classrooms and few classrooms with air conditioner. all sports and extracurricular activities take place in different campuses like lavale campus scms pune and symbiosis sb road. before we didnt had any clubs but nowadays there is a club which is responsible for organising events, fests, etc
i am local in pune therefore i have not opted for any hostel. many friends of mine are staying in pg where the rent goes to 250000 and somewhere it is 4.5L around rooms and bathrooms of pg's in near locality area are well maintained and clean and even the food which is served is hygiene

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
