Yess, there is a proper entrance exam to get admission into college. Structure of the course, curriculum and faculty made me choose this college. Good thing is that this college is new for design, we also consider this as a bad thing, but it depends upon the faculty.
Good curriculum, experienced faculty. Visiting faculties are being called whenever needed who are working hands-on in the industry. Academics is good. We also have an option of open elective where we get to choose and study a subject briefly of other department every semester
My college prioritize providing excellent placements and internships for designers to bridge the gap between education and industry. These programs offer students practical experience and exposure to real-world projects, enhancing their employability.
B.des degree is for 8 semesters, we have to pay fees per semester worth rs. 1.75 lakh, there is no concession for reservation, but have concession for NRI and EBC people. Also we get scholarship if the GPA is above 9.5
There is a wide scope for social life and we get a huge exposure here. There are atleast 50 clubs. Many interesting events takes place here like arohan ride etc. Annual gathering is fun for us. Also good freshers and farewell parties are thrown by the college
Overall, the facilities of the hostel are quite good, providing a comfortable living environment for students. However, the food quality leaves much to be desired. Many residents tend to prefer the mess food over what is offered in the hostel, as it generally tastes better and is more satisfying. On the other hand, the food quality at Encave has been noted to be significantly better, making it a popular choice among students. This disparity in food quality highlights the importance of good nutrition for students, as it can greatly impact their overall well-being and academic performance.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
